It's Time to Get Dressed

What if your purpose was like an outfit hanging in your closet waiting to be worn? Living out your purpose is like wearing the perfect outfit that fits you just right. It's about embracing who you are at your core and expressing it to the world with authenticity.
Just like a well-fitted outfit, your purpose is unique to you. It's not something that can be borrowed or imitated from someone else. It's a personal journey of self-discovery, where you uncover your passions, values, and talents.
You may wake up each morning staring at this beautiful garment hanging in the closet, longing for the day you can proudly wear it. It’s your best kept secret waiting for the perfect day to emerge from the shadows of your closet.
What are you waiting on to wear it?
For everyone to cheer you on?
For no one to doubt you?
For you to not have a single doubt in yourself?
For a stress-free life?
For every question to have an answer?
To be flawless?
You’ll be waiting forever….
The truth is, there are going to be days we don’t feel worthy to wear it. Not everyone is going to give you validation or encouragement. When that happens, don’t kneel to the temptation to run, hide, and rip the garment off. Remember, that you’re wearing it for a reason and not everyone needs to understand or approve.
Your garment will become worn overtime. It will not be flawless. Remember that every hole can be stitched up and every button sewn back on.
Perfection is an illusion. Perfection will send us on an endless quest for a standard we cannot obtain.
The forecast may not be perfect, but that outfit is doing you no good collecting dust in the closet. Living out your purpose requires courage. It takes bravery to step outside of your comfort zone and pursue what truly sets your soul on fire. But when you find the strength to follow your passion, amazing things can happen. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the ability to face it head-on and push through despite any doubts or uncertainties. It is
about having faith in God use us in our strengths and weaknesses even when others may doubt you. Courage is not reserved for a select class of people. There is courage to be found in each one of us. Sometimes, courage is simply being alive and showing up for the day. With every courageous step our purpose becomes more apparent.
When you live out your purpose, every aspect of your life becomes infused with divine significance. Your work becomes more than just a job; it becomes an opportunity to serve others and glorify God through your talents and abilities. Your relationships become deeper and more meaningful as you strive to love others unconditionally and show them the grace that God has shown you.
Living out your purpose means stepping out of your comfort zone and trusting in God's guidance even when the path seems uncertain. It means seeking His will in every decision you make, big or small.
Remember that living out your purpose is not about achieving worldly success or recognition. It is about surrendering yourself to God's plan for your life and allowing Him to work through you for His glory.
Embrace the unique calling that God has placed on your life. Seek His wisdom through prayer and Scripture, surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you on this journey, and trust in His perfect timing.
Remember, courage is not something reserved for the few; it is within each one of us. So, dare to dream big, be bold in your actions, and live out your purpose with unwavering courage.
It’s time to get dressed my friend…today is a beautiful day.
Being Brave With You,
Ashley
